NBC…Ongoing work as strategic consultants to NBC news in the creation and execution of high-level initiatives designed broaden viewership of cable properties and attract sponsorship for NBC’s educational ventures. Recent work includes MSNBC’s April broadcast of Meeting David Wilson, the gut-wrenching story of a young African-American’s personal confrontation and ultimate reconciliation with a direct descendent of the family that once owned his ancestors during slavery.

Irving Ventures…Retained by Barrington Irving, who recently made history by being the first black pilot and youngest person ever to complete a solo flight around the globe. Services provided include the creation of a marketing strategy to develop and promote the Barrington Irving “brand,” securing a publishing deal for the official story of the flight, and developing and negotiating sponsorship opportunities.

Bud Greenspan & The United States Olympic Committe…Collaborating with award-winning Olympic documentary producer Bud Greenspan to develop a multi-media education program for distribution to schools in partnership with Creative Curriculum Initiatives and the United States Olympic Committee (USOC). Tasks included product development & definition and creation of marketing strategy.

Official Pictures…Retained by Official Pictures to secure television broadcast and sponsorship opportunities for their debut film Meeting David Wilson, broadcast on MSNBC to rave reviews in April 2008.

Creative Curriculum Initiatives…Provide ongoing marketing and brand building services for CCI, one of the largest developers of customized educational programs in the United States. Services include product concept development and marketing support for CCI created programs. Recent projects include the developing, positioning and securing sponsorship for MAAP (Mapping the African-American Past), a multi-media educational resource designed to inspire and inform people about African-American contributions to New York City. The interactive website (www.maap.columbia.edu), produced in partnership with the Columbia University, is free to the public and contains a wealth of information including videos, podcasts, interactive maps, and detailed lesson plans.
